We downloaded and installed the new blog module 3.4 on our test installation (4.6.2). Most everything seems fine, but each time we tried to configure 'Module Options'.  We go this error:

Error: Blog Module Options is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: 'HtmlTableBodySection' cannot have children of type 'LiteralControl'. ---> System.ArgumentException: 'HtmlTableBodySection' cannot have children of type 'LiteralControl'. at System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlTableBodySection.HtmlTableBodyRowControlCollection.Add(Control child) at System.Web.UI.Control.AddParsedSubObject(Object obj) at System.Web.UI.Control.System.Web.UI.IParserAccessor.AddParsedSubObject(Object obj) at ASP.desktopmodules_blog_moduleoptions_ascx.__BuildControl__control29() at ASP.desktopmodules_blog_moduleoptions_ascx.__BuildControltblBookmarks() at ASP.desktopmodules_blog_moduleoptions_ascx.__BuildControlTree(desktopmodules_blog_moduleoptions_ascx __ctrl) at ASP.desktopmodules_blog_moduleoptions_ascx.FrameworkInitialize() at System.Web.UI.UserControl.InitializeAsUserControlInternal() at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(IWebObjectFactory objectFactory, VirtualPath virtualPath, Type t, Object[] parameters) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

We installed it on our 4.8.0 test installation and got the same error.

Our test installations are installed on Vista and as childs off the localhost installation.

Anyone have any ideas, we checked the source and aspx but cannot id the problem.

Thanks

Bob

yo

i had the same problem and u'll find it again with the "add event" module too!

its pretty simple to fix open up "\DesktopModules\Blog\ModuleOptions.ascx" and u'll find in the center a commented out of section and right at the bottom;

</TD><TR></TBODY>---><TABLE>

that tbody is in the wrong place u need to move it up!! on the page! and there i'll work!!
