How do I export a module to another site? ie: I have a Text/Html module on one site, but I dont want the hassle of recreating the same moduel with the same contetn on my other website. I have tried to use the export Module function. And sure, it works..  ..as long as I use that module o the same site. But how do I get it accessable on another site. I tried to copy and paste the .xml file via FTP, but it dosent show when I try to import in on the other site. Pls help me...

if you use the export function from one site, you can then use the import on another site AFTER you upload the file via file manager.  if you upload it via FTP you must Sync the file system via file manager.

I am sad to say that this does not seem to work. I have done as you suggested. The problem remains however. I can uppload the exported files in the file manager, but not to the root of the other portal. I have tried to sync the files but I must be doing something wrong. The problem seems to lay in the fact that in the file manager I get a root folder that is one step past that of my portals root folders.

My appoligies.. It was a GREAT answer. I merely missunderstood. I used the HOST file manager instead of ADMIN. Ty for the quick and accurate answer
