All,

I was wondering if I'm missing something from Michaels tutorial; is this particular series complete? If not then my question is a moot point (and the "Tutorial is in Progress" statement makes sense), but if it is complete part 3 ends abruptly prior to creating the Categories control. There are no post dates so I don't know how old the series is.

I'm still working on it but the first two parts are complete and you will have a completed module. The missing stuff is just "extras"

Michael,

I'm trying to create a settings control and every time I add a LinqDataSource it registers the following assembly in my ascx file. What am I doing wrong? I added all the necessary information to the Web.config file.

Register assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" namespace="System.Web.UI.WebControls" tagprefix="asp"

There are two versionsof that assembly. It must be ensuring you have the right one. Does the module build ok?

Build Page/Website completes without error.  I get the error below when I go to module settings and it looks like something with the core since I'm using the Install version to create modules. I tried registerring/replacing  the assembly it in the web.config but it caused problems. Any ideas?
