I beleave I saw the same movie.  How close do you think they are to having something like that.  I've always wanted to learn pearl.  It would be nice if I could just plug in and learn it.  just kidding!!!!!

Seriously if you want a good resource buy this book

http://www.amazon.com/Professional-DotNetNuke-Application-Framework-Programmer/dp/0471788163/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203455327&sr=8-1

I bought this book 1 1/2 years ago when I first started with DotNetNuke, and it's great.  It is still the first place I turn to when I have a question.  These forrums are the second place.  Read the Documentation that you where already directed to read.  If you want to read the book, and if you need more help there are plenty fo knowledgable people on this forum who can answer almost all of your questions.

Jeff I can't believe how long it must have taken you to come up with that, but it was great!

John,

I am new to this all .. but have a differant to approach to getting my head around this all ... you seem to be very active on this site / forum .. so thought I would ask for some guidence ....

I am trying to find out if there are some users with experience that live near me ... would like to then speak / meet with them and get a head start that way ... so what I need is some direction on how I might be able to do that.  I am in VMelbourne, Victoria, Australia .. Any direction on how I might find some experienced users in Melbourne?

Ta

George

George,

I'm not John but I know there are quite a few austrialians that work heavily with DotNetNuke, but I am not sure where they live.

I know that Philip Beadle (http://www.philipbeadle.net) lives in austrialia and the company he works for does dnn education items...
