In DNN you can create secure folders by selecting 'Secure - File System' when adding a folder. Is there a way to add a link to a document in such a secured folder in the Telerik r.ad.editor?

The difference between such a file is that the .resources extension is added to the filename so that the file isn't served by IIS.
So test.txt changes into test.txt.resources.

If I add a regular link to such a file I get this error when I click on it:
This type of page is not served.

Is there a way to get working links in the r.a.d.editor to this type of file?

Thanks!

I only know that this is not possible with the built-in FCK editor. I suggest that you ask the Telerik support. (and as their answer might be of interest for others, you could post the answer here.)

To do this as far as I know you have to find the secure link to the file via another method, then you can paste it into your RAD editor.

The link will be to LinkClick.aspx with a specific fileticket information.  I know how to get it in the codebehind, but there are various workarounds to see it on the front end.

I'm sure that there must be an easier way to do it, but I'm now aware of it.

I'm having this problem as well.  It doesn't have anything to do with radEditor.  Does anyone know how a normal admin (meaning, a non code or digging in the DB solution) can create a link to a file in a secure folder with html?  Any help would be great.
