Hi,

I want to make a call to another page on a DNN site via Server.Transfer() method. When i was given like Server.Transfer(~/Default.aspx?tabId =32), it was nt redirecting to the required page and it will remain in the same page. But when i used Response.redirect(~/Default.aspx?tabId =32) , it goes to the second page.

Can some one help me out to use Server.Transfer method to communicate between DNN pages on the same portal?

Thanks In Advance :)

thats the design of server.transfer, it does a server transfer of data without changing the URL -see http://www.developer.com/net/asp/article.php/3299641 for more details. In general I would recommend sticking to response.redirect, or using one of the techniques detailed @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1313/Default.aspx
