Hi All,

I'm new in the DNN world. I'm trying to createa nw skin.I was looking at the default DNN-Blue skin and ait use only table. I was wondering if I could you layer instead. my main question is in the controlpanel column, it use the runat="server". Do I need it if I use a layer? is their a way to insert it in a layer? I was thinking on doing something like <div id=ControlPanel"> </div> instead of <TD id="ControlPanel" runat="server" class="contentpane" valign="top" align="center"></TD>''

Many thanks

You can use div's as well. Some of us think that div's should be used instead of tables ;)

You don't need to specify the control panel perse. If you don't, it will be injected at the top of the page (only in admin mode). You could also add it into a div like you stated above.
