Hi,

When a user enters a password that doesn't meet the minimum requirements it tells them to enter one that does. Is there any way to change this message to tell them what the minimum requirements are (what they may be doing wrong)?

Thanks.

_t,

In the Language Editor (Admin -> Languages -> Language Editor) browse to LocalResources -> Authentication - > Login - > Login.ascx.resx -> PasswordInvalid.Text to change the text.

As far as finding out what your settings are you can go to the Admin -> User Accounts -> User Settings page and it will display the minimum requirements that are being enforced.

hope that helps,

Ian

Thank you very much. That worked! Although I found the area to edit on:

Local Resources\admin\Users\App_LocalResources\ManageUsers.ascx.resx

I'm using DNN 4.1.1

shotsy247,

You're welcome - and just for clarity's sake I was referencing information for version 4.8.0

Take care,

Ian
