I want to have a SolPart or some drop down menu that I can include in my skins but want it to reference the main portal. The idea is to have the child portals to have there own treeview menu to navigate their sites and a main menu that references the main site both on the same page.

I will be designing the skins for the child portals (all the same and they will choose from skins I create) but I want the main site to be accessible as a main menu.

Is there some way to configure the solpart menu to do this?

Hi,

As far as I know this is not that easy, as i was loking for something similar.  I've found two workarounds.  The first is using the House of nuke menu, but I found this a bit labour intensive.  The other option is to create a page on your child portal, and in the page settings, you can specify the url for the parent portal, thereby creating a link in your menu that takes the user to the parent portal if they click on it.

Hope this helps
