Hi Guys,

I would love to have a multi solution file architecture for my DNN 4 sites, I think this was a shame that it was taken away, I dont like dynamic compilation as its slow (Web Projects were probably brought back in for web projects because of this). I have started work on this, I have seen comments on the forums that Web Applications will not be supported but what about multiple solutions.

I have already moved my custom module developments into separate solutions which is working really well. I can use a web project or a class project for my custom modules. I have started work on this.

Regards,

                Alistair

you can create your modules as WSP or WAP, see Michaels Tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com

Yes I have created a C# Module template from here http://www.bitethebullet.co.uk/DNN4CSharpTemplate/tabid/79/Default.aspx

that will work with VS2008.

But I want to use a multi solution DNN build environment like I could with DNN 3.x.

Regards,

                  Alistair
