What are you asking exactly?

DNN Update is an extension and service for DotNetNuke that helps you to keep your DNN modules and other components up to date.  The service scans the DNN components that you have installed to produce a list of available updates, which you can download and install automatically.

This is not an acutal dotnetnuke core team service.  What this site operator does is not in anyway, that I know of, related to the core.  That means what this person does, is completely up to them.

Hi Chris,

DNNUpdate is a service for module developers.  It's use (or not) is up to the module developer - in the case of Gallery or Forums, the core team.

If the core team gives me permission to redistribute the core modules, I would put them on DNNUpdate - but I've seem *many* posts from core team members before in the ASP.NET forums protesting whenever anyone else has distributed any part of the DNN core, so I wouldn't do it without the core team's blessing.
