Hello, I have downloaded the latest zip, but ( after reading all i could ) I am still unsure of the correct procedure to update this module ? Do i just install the new module and will this auto upgrade the module or do i need to delete the old module / saving the files ( first or last ) if so.

Thanks for any help

Pete

Generally you can upgrade modules just by installing the newer version over the old version, through the upload process.

My advice though, backup your database and file system before you ever install/upgrade modules.

Thankyou Chris, ( being new but a fast learner ) do i back the entire site up using FTP to a zip or are there specific files only that need backing up before doing this ?

The safest way is to back everything up. Though specifically you can probably get by with just the BIN, Desktopmodules, and Portals folders.
