Hi,

I have had to implement Open ViewState to get my site working at an acceptable speed. However this causes a clash with another module that uses Flash. I really want to get the Flash module working.

There are two options:

The first is to find an alternative ViewState product that doesn't interfere with Flash, no idea if this is possible.

The second, is to fudge it. I can create a second DNN site that doesn't have Open ViewState on it and then use it on my main website inside an Iframe. I have tested this and it works great, except that I only want to bring up the one module which contains the Flash - I don't want the tab menu etc.

Any ideas on whether this is possible and if so how I can do it?

Many thanks

Liz

Create a special skin for your second site which doesn't contain a menu or other elements you don't need. You'll only need a content pane to take up the module.

Thanks, not sure how to do that but will investigate.

another mock might be mocking to be in print mode (add "dnnprintmode=true" to URL parameters).

templateprint skin object from http://dnnjungle.vmasanas.net/ might be of help to format the output correctly.
