Just downloaded the source and working thru issues, but I'm wondering if I should bother trying to use the source files on my home XP Pro dev machine?   I'm getting the" Access to the path ... is denied." error and cannot set up the ASPnet user to have appropriate permissions on the site folder.  (Right-clicking on the folder is not bringing up the security tab on the dialog to add permissions for the user.    I'm just in the habit of working on a dev machine and moving my source to the server when the time comes.  Is the path of least resistance just to work from Windows Server 2003?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

There is a way to change the security setting in XP so that the Security tab shows up but I'm drawing a blank on how to do it (though I know it's something relatively simple). A google search help you out there.

Personally, I always test any changes etc on a development system before changing them on a production system just in case something goes wrong.

Thanks Mike, as you implied it was a pretty basic thing.  I'm only running a wireless wkgrp at home, but I went into Network connections and ran the network setup wizard - I think  I did it against the unused ethernet port and it altered permissions.  I was able to share the folder, but have not specified that ASPNET is the account.  Got past that issue on, to others.

Thanks
