Hi,
I've installed DNN 3.2.2 on my desktop (XP pro sp2, .net framework 1.1, IIS 5.1). but when trying to install on my laptop (same configuration), the installation doesn't initiate and Internet explorer just displays the following text (also when i "Browse" the default.aspx from IIS)

<%@ Page CodeBehind="Default.aspx.vb" language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Explicit="True" Inherits="DotNetNuke.Framework.CDefault" %>
<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" Namespace="DotNetNuke.Common.Controls" Assembly="DotNetNuke" %>
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">

    </BODY>
</HTML>

Which looks like the text from the Default (ASPX File) in DotNetNuke folder.
Any insights, what am i missing?
Thanks for going thru.......

ASP.NET is not installed on your system.

Hey thanks for responding. Even i suspected that its something to do with .NET. however i had installed the .net framework 1.1 and was able to create the ASPNET user (and assign required rights for DNN folder to it).

How can i check whether ASP.NET is properly installed? any diagnostic command or otherwise?

The IIS doesn't have the correct mappings. To avoid future problems, I'd remove the .NET Framework, then remove and reinstall IIS and then reinstall .NET. If you don't want to do this you can simply re-register aspnet. using the command aspnet_regiis
