Is there a way to turn off e-mail and name, or change it to default to anonymous and anonymous.com

What I am wanting to do is modify this module to use it as an anonymous reporting tool for violence, drugs, criminal activity, etc. in our schools. Also, the ability to send to more than one e-mail address would be great.

Is there a way to do this with this module, or should I look for a different one?

Thank you,

RushB

RushB - you could do this with some minor tweaks to the module. For example, the email fields are required fields but you could "pre-fill" them with your default values and maybe set them as "hidden". This way, all you have is just the name and text fields...

With regards to multiple email addresses, you can do this right now - simply setup a category and in the category define whatever email addresses you want to send the feedback to....

Astounding, someone with exactly the same question as me...

Sanjay, I've just tried editing various parts of the module to hide the email and name sections, I initially tried to edit the feedback.ascx file, then the corresponding .vb file.

Each time I got a "Error"object reference not set to an object etc etc" error.

I'm not confident yet with editing these files (and not destroying the rest of my portal in the process!)  Can you offer and advice as to which lines I should edit?

Andrew - hiding the email and name sections are provided as functionality in the module itself. If you go to the settings of the view comments module, you should be able to hide the desired fields...

Sorry, I should have been more clear.  I was looking for a way of removing the need to enter a name/email address.  Not just hide the results.  I've figured it out now by hiding various parts of the form!

I still have a problem with it saying "Submited by" at the end of each comment.  Even though I've chosen the "hide name" option.  Is there a way of removing this?
