Hi again murthy,

umm..How are you going to admin the portal without the admin menu?

The host also needs it.

The correct answer would be to actually create something like a "sub-admin" account for the portal, and move the use to it, then give that account whatever permissions to make the changes you want them to.  I haven't done tht before so I'm not sure.

Just remember though, if you remove the admin option from the menu, you won't get to see it either.

Here is what I would do to fix it the way you ware wanting.

First I'd create an admin page of my own, then provide yourself only access to that page.  Then apply a page level skin of DNN-Blue or ssomething, with the unmodified menu.  This way you can always get to it if you need to.

THEN the fun stuff...in your skin that you want to remove the "admin" menus from.....ehh...HEHE..Well I don't see an option for it actually, but I do remember when I was messign with HouseMenu, they had an option for it.  But again, I'd instead try to think of a creative way to prevent someone from having admin access rather than removing the admin menu.

If you just remove the menu, you have to remember that they still have admin rights...so...even though the menu isnt' there, a creative person could gain access to teh admin area anyhow.

the admin menu is shown to members of administrators role and host users only and needed for administrative tasks, why do you want to remove it and how do you want to access the modules included?

In DNN 5 there will be additional options for copfiguring those modules and place in different menus.
