Nobody use this meta tag? No possibility to set it in dotnetnuke portal?

No real good solution that I know of at this point, other than placing it directly in the default.aspx file. If you have multiple portals, this wouldn't be a good idea. but if you only have one, it works fine............

I've seen that in the default.aspx file is used this: <meta id="MetaAuthor" runat="Server" name="AUTHOR" />

Well, where I can set the id MetaAuthor?

The Meta AUTHOR tag is set to the same value as the portal name in DNN.

I have created a free skin object which lets you set this to a more meaningful value. It simply replaces the existing DNN meta AUTHOR tag with one that you define in your skin package.
