Hi,

I'm trying to resrict what modules a user can edit based upon their role. I've followed the Portal Security video found here:

http://dotnetnuke.com/About/TrainingVideos/tabid/810/Default.aspx

but it just doesn't work for me. The steps I followed were:

1. Add a new user
2. Add a role
3. Add the user to Role
4. Click settings on the module and select that the role as 'Allow Edit'

I make sure the other modules do not have edit for that Role. I then logout and login as that user but none of the modules are editable.

If I change the settings for the whole page to allow edit for the the user then all modules become editable but it wont seem to let me restrict specific module access.

I'm using version 3.22.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Kieran
