just installed dotnetnuke 4.8. my site is working fine.

my prob is how can i allow domain users to log-on to the site without registering again. some say enable windows authentication synchronize role... but i cant find it under host/authentication.. what i have is windows liveid.. no idea

You'll need to install the Active Directory Provider. There's a bug with the version that's available for download (01.00.00) but you can get the 01.00.03 version from http://dnn.gmss.org until the .03 version has completed it's journey through the DNN Release Tracker (it's also tagged as a beta until it's released on DNN.com). Also be sure to download the documentation for the provider as it has the steps you need to get it installed and setup.

01.00.03?? Unfortunately I don't as I have limited control over the process.
