I need the repository module to be able to display only directories located in a certain state...example:

When you click on "Florida"...it then takes you to a list of categories for that state. Then you click the category you want and display the listing.

Currently, it only is a blanket category, where all listings will apear, regardless what state they are in.

a combination of 'categories' and 'attributes' will let you do what you want.

you can setup the states as an 'attribute', then use an attribute dropdownlist in the header to allow people to filter category contents by state.
