Hi

I have two questions:

1 - I want to know if it's possible install DNN on a comercial server that do not offer suport for DNN, the server offer support for ASP.NET 2 and SQL Server Express.

2 - If the question 1 is YES, How can i install it on that server? I only have saw tutorials for installing DNN locally

Thanks in advance

What do you mean by "a comercial server that do not offer suport for DNN?"

As long as you have a Windows server OS running IIS, the .net framework including asp.net and either sql server express or sql server you are good to go (with correctly set permissions.)

1) yes, though a hosting provider with dedicated DotNetNuke experience and support might be a great advantage

2) please check out the installation guide on Documentation page in Resources menu above. usually you install using a remote console if available.

Ok Thanks... please correct to me if something of the follow facts is bad:

I only must create a directory on my server account and copy all Installation files of DNN on it, and after run the installation wizard from www.mysite.com/dotnetnuke

if the hoster allows to control permissions for the root folder, you can also just copy all files into it. make sure to grant full permission for the account used by ASP.Net to access files.
