DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

Cannot open user default database. Login failed. Login failed for user 'local machine running xp\ASPNET'.

That's the current configuration. This is the 4.02 install.  I am using SQL 2005 express. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you try with...

AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;

I tried it all... as far as connectio strings go. My laptop (where I have many other apps) is XP SQL 2000.

Any other suggestions?

The connection string you are using does not apply to SQL 2000.

But this is the one that is commented out in DNN for SQL 2000.

By the way, thanks for your interest. I have seen that you have helped many others.
