Hello community.I am very fresh with DotNetNuke.

One of my questions is if the following is possible and how?

Can a linkbutton from one module invoke and make visible another module and passing some arguments to it so as the 2nd module to call the database procedures with the proper data for selection?

I hope i made my question clear!

Thank you in advance.

The easist way to do this is to add something to the query string that the second module will recognize and act upon.  If this isn't possible/desireable, you can use Inter-Module Communication, which is discussed in the Module Development Guidelines.

Hope it helps,

The next version of SQLGridSelectedView (a free module) will support Inter-Module Communication ... the current version does allow considerable data parameter selection and display options.

However, there are times when you may want to perform the data selections but use the selection to drive several different reports or displays on the same page.   The new version will allow the user to do just that.

If you want addition information contact me via email ( my email is correct in the profile) otherwise visit my site www.tressleworks.ca and leave me a note.

Paul.
