Hi,

I attempted to do a simple install of Forum 3.20.01 on DNN 4 and am having some problems. The install comes off without a hitch (no error messages, etc), but when i attempt to add the module to a page, i get the following:

A critical error has occurred.
The stored procedure 'dbo.Forum_GroupGetAll' doesn't exist.

Obviously something is either not being added to the database, or incorrectly added in this version. Any thoughts? Is 3.20.01 ready for use in DNN 4?

Thanks,
eedwards

I have installed and used the module in dnn 4.  I have not heard of this error before.  Do you have a stored procedure named Forum_GroupGetAll?

I am dealing with a third-party host, and had to request db access to check things out...

But, yes, the stored proc does indeed exist. I am guessing now that the asp.net account on my platform doesn't have the ability to access stored procedures other than the core modules preinstalled in DNN?
Is there code in the installation that verifies these sorts of things?

Host is blowing away the installation and reinstalling. I will post back if the problem persists after reinstall.
Thanks,

The only thing i would check is to make sure the objectQualifier and the database owners on the forums items match those in the rest of th emods.

If other dnn mods work, this hsould be no different.
