Hi everyone,

I would like to install dotnetnuke on a web server. It is a shared Windows server with an MS SQL 2000 database. I downloaded the files and extracted them but I have run into a problem. Everything I find says that the next step is to change the "web.config" file. I cannot find this file. There is a file called "release.config" that has database connection stuff in it but I am not sure that is correct. It seems like I am missing something very obvious and I can't find any mention of this problem on the forums. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

There should be some indication in the Installation Guide that tells you to rename release.config into web.config. Please review the document again. It's in the zip available from the downloads area.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
