No you can only change the portal.css file which can be done via the interface. Now you can go in and edit the default.CSS file for your portal in the file system / make edits to it, but changing the .skinobject will affect the styling of all your skinobjects. IE breadcrumbs, login, terms of agreement, etc. Its a generic blanket class. If you just want to change the formating of the copyright then you need to edit either the ascx / xml file to have the copyright token use a different class. Then you can format that class. Now what I have seen done before is.... People will define the class to use and then put the class in the portal.css file which allows them to make edits via the user interface later on. This is ok to do on a per installation bases only, removes the ability to port the skin around even to different parent portals of the original installation, so not a great choice. Making the change in your skin files should be really simple to do though.

DNN named .SkinObjects for a reason-- it is being used throughout the entire site for all the Skin Objects that has no CSS specified. Once you modify this just for the purpose of making the [COPYRIGHT] token to look different. I will affect sidewide, not just the [COPYRIGHT] token.

If you insist to modify this .SkinObject selector, you can do so at site level at Admin-->Site Settings then change it in the "Stylesheet Editor"

Still make no sense? Let me know.

Not a problem Cuong Dang too much information is always better then not enough, and everyone explains things differently, which can really help users.

After thinking about it you should be able to overright the default.css via the portal.css file which you can edit in the interface as Cuong / I point out though this will override all skinobject tokens. I am pretty sure the cascade follows default.css is overwritten by portal.css which is overwritten by skin.css. Thusly adding

.skinobject
{insert your styling
}

should change the skinobject class for you via the user interface admin-->settings-->edit stylesheets. Allowing you to techincally make any styling changes you want to the default.css classes. However you have to use a custom skin / edit a default skin to seperate out the copyright token / tag out from the rest of the skinobjects.
