Gentlemen, our production site is full of the following errors happening very regularly at around an hour's interval. I have looked web like anything to find the solution but did not find any. The major problem is when this happens, no one can log into the site, site behaves way weared and gets into a kind of locked out state. We cannot do anything but to wait and see when we can log back in. These errors always come in group of three.

This is happening live at my production ecomm site. Extremely consistent since the day I implemented dotnetnuke, but now has gone to critical stage that I need to fix it.

Someone please help, anything for any assistance/guidance.

Web.config entries for Captcha:

      <add verb="*" path="*.captcha.aspx" type="DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.CaptchaHandler, DotNetNuke" />

I've not seen that error before, but as it seems to be happening at fixed times I'd check 2 things

1. log in as host, and go to host->schedule and see if any of the scheduled task runtimes run about the period that causes the issue. If one of these is causing an application recycle, it could cause a problem as the captcha uses viewstate and forms authentication encryption.

2. ensure that your webhost does not some sort of batch task that recycles the website on an hourly basis

Cathal, so sincere thanks on some direction. Give me a day to observe and I will get back to you on the timing issue on the situation. Also, I will call my hosting provider to see if they are doing something like you outlined in point 2.

Once again thanks again and give me a day to come back with observation on timing.

Sincerely,
