Hello all. Long story short I want to sell three subscription levels. I have created a table in the module with details of each subscription, inserted the "Buy Now" image from paypal, but how to I insert the HTML code that is attached to the image so it redirects to the Paypal site. Or, how do I add the HTML text into just that cell in the table? Thanks for your help.

If i am right you have a table with 3 rows or similar, ( maybe an extra column for the buy now buttons that you set up up in pay-pal. If so you do not attach the images to these places but instead try this.

In each section of your table where you want to ad the button for each option type the word : Button1" , and the same for the other 2 buttons where you want then, then in pay-pal you should have some script for each button, / payment option, copy this script then return to your  table, then select the source option in the top left corner.

In the source code for the HTML, find the words button1. ( for example ) highlight the text and then paste the code from pay pal over the top of it replacing it, do the same for the other 2 buttons. ( if possible creating a new row or column for these buttons would be better for alignment but not needed, you should also be able to edit the button size and or even change the button image from here.

As mentioned above there are also modules available that do this sort of thing for you , allowing you to dial up payment options and it really does depend on what it is you need to create that would be your best option ( inventu has one of these that may help )

Great idea. It worked however I'm still having the Paypal issue what when you create an excrypted buy now button and you click it it just brings to the same page you are on. I notced this one other time on another site. I'm not sure what the deal is but it's rather disappointing when you almost get something to work. thanks again, I guess I will need to try an solve this Paypal issue or find a module to handle it.

Did you try a test where you just pasted the script from pay pal into a blank table to test it out, as i cant see why the script from pay pal would not work,

I will run a test later tonight to check it out based on what your doing above.

EDIT For some reason it seems to altering the code when updating ? I have tried to correct it but it always reverts back to the same, so something in the editor is making the changes, i am not sure what or if that action can be turned of for the save.

Edit2. It seems like they have recently changed the code as i am now getting  the same errors regardless of what i do, this is not good as i had planned around this and now it seems i am stumped again, i will try and work out what is going wrong this end, if you find the answwer please let me know

Pete
