Dear All

I using DNN 4.6.2  for a month ago, to build a web for make a community. I have many forum on my web like DOTNETNUKE.COM. Around 100 people join my web everyday, then anything is fine!. But yesterday when I  click on any topic on my web  its redirect to home only, except the topic on article module.

Last mounth I have problem like this. But I got a advice by Chris to check about cache and clear cache menu on admin -> view event menu.

That solution it work because I can login by admin account and the admin menu its visible.

Today when I login by admin account, its done, but the admin menu it invisible. I try to login by host ,but it not contain admin menu that I can select the sub menu "view event" for clear cache.

1. Anyone know how should  I do?

2. Why  this version can't support this problem like this.(my web just have 100 people join for a day.) or I must config anything more than standard.

3. How can I login by admin acc# and Its show the admin menu.

Thank you.

This sounds like a caching issue.  The best way to resolve this individual problem is to recycle the IIS application pool.  There are many ways to do this depending on your configuration.  One of the easiest is to make a minor change to the web.config file (add an extra space on the end of a line) and then save the file.  Recycling the app pool forces DNN to completely rebuild the caches from scratch.

Thank! Joe

Yep! Its about cache. And I already to set new option about purge cache on host menu.

But I still interest your suggest about add some space to web.config.

Could you plz explain about this again. What the code or html tag that I must add in web.config.

Thank you again

Just make any change to the web.config and it will restart the application.   Adding a single space anywhere and save.   Then the next time, you can go in and remove that space and save, restarting the application again.  Any change will trigger it.
