Hi All
Was hoping someone could help

I have installed DNN 4.02  via staterkit but cannot seem to get it to work externally,
I know it is not an IIS   issues as  can  surf to the directory  and  open up any of the file excpet for default.aspx

eg.  going to  KeepAlive.aspx   shows the time so i know it is executing the  files
I constantly get

'You are not authorized to view this page'

I have gone into Portals and  tried to cahnge the default alias and add other alias to no affect,
the DNN installation is not under wwwroot  but under  Inetpub   is this causing the problem,
it is under inetubpub/dotnetnuke
i have set th IIS  virtual directory as dotnetnuke
the portal alias in DNN is  hostname/dotnetnuke/
all  files under directory such as
http://hostname/dotnetnuke/keepalive.aspx    works

http://hostname/dotnetnuke/default.aspx    returns  authorization error

any help would be appreciated

Regards
