Hello.

I am having the same problem.  I can see it is absolutely a relaying problem, but I dont know how to fix it.  In my SMTP settings I have Basic settings which lead to our other server with a specified email address and password. The test works fine, and we receive emails just fine from within the system upon generating emails.  However it does not work with this "forgot password".

Apparently, there is no fix, since no futher response? I'm having the same problem because we moved to secure SMTP server. Will

William, the issue is in SMTP server configuration, i.e. in previous post, proper login credentions need to be provided for the SMTP account.

Correct, I understand that. My SMTP settings are as you and other recommended. Unfortunately, the problem still persists. I'm on DNN 4.9.5. Do you know if DNN 5X fixes this issue. We plan to upgrade to 5x shortly anyway.

I am on DNN 4.9.5 with all our production servers (and all our clients' as well) and there are no problems sending emails and passwords.
