Hi,

I've just downloaded the lastest soruce package and the News module folder is missing two VB source files:

EditRss.ascx.vb and RssModule.ascx.vb

Where can I obtain these two missing modules so I can build the solution without errors?

Bob,

When I install the _source package into DNN they're unpacked and put in place. Can you tell me which file you've been using? Note the source files are in the resources file included in the zip.

I have the same problem.

 

I downloaded the DotNetNuke_04.08.02_Source.zip file, but cannot find either the EditRss.ascx.vb and RssModule.ascx.vb files??

to get the source of installable modules, download the source version OF THE MODULE, you can get either from  project's download page.

I downloaded the source for the News Module & the source for the DotNetNuke framework.

I also went through the steps on setting up my development environment using DotNetNuke 4.0 Module Development (Part 1).pdf.   I opened the project and started it without debugging.  I then went my local version of DNN and installed the News feed.  Went back to Visual Studio and refreshed the folder.  Still no .vb files.

I opened up the folder for the HTML module.  It has all the vb files.  Something is just broken.
