Mike,

If you are happy there is no bug, that's great. If you want the email changed, can you raise as an enhancement so it can be looked at in the release after next (the next release is bug fix only)?

Cheers
Roger

Roger, thanks for all your help!

I'm going to be doign more testing today, so hopefully this is not a bug.  What I need at this point is confirmation that paypal does send some information back to DNN giving the status of the payment.  I also need some confirmation that the email I recieved above is sent from DNN, and not paypal.  Someone involved with the creation of this module should know these answers...

As far as I can see from the code the module does receive an IPN when the payment goes through, so the site knows that there has been a payment. This is the Notify URL in the URL I posted in the other thread. The email does not look like one from PayPal. I use a different module as a store on my site, which sends mails from the site and I get PayPal notifications - the PayPal ones don't look like that.

I'll have a quick look at the code.

Roger

Yes I can see that that comes from the module, when an IPN is received.

THANK YOU!  I've posted about this before only to receive no help, and also noticed other posts from other users with the same question, and they received no help.  glad to see someone taking an initiative to pump some life into this module and forum.

Mike,

Fortunately you are posting at a time when the project team has just been re-formed, and I, having joined the team, have some spare time to test. The lead is now Ernst Peter Tamminga, who has gathered a small team about him. We are gradually working through all the bugs listed against the project. So nows a good time to post them on Gemini.... Most current ones have fixes, only a couple outstanding now.

Cheers
Roger
