Hello,

I tried to upgrade from 4.3 to 4.8.2, unzipped the content of the upgrade package in the website, and now all I get is below.

I've googled it, and noticed few other people have the same issue, but couldn't find a solution for that.

Not that I have no access to C:\, my site is hosted by 3rd party.

Any help extremely appreciated.

Thanks

Does the file exist at the root of your web site?

If performing an upgrade with a version prior to DNN 4.6.2 you have to transfer the settings from web.config to the new release.config and then rename release.config to web.config.

The settings you need to transfer are the database connection strings and the machine key. Also any entries in the "codeSubDirectories" section.

I recommend you upgrade to 4.04.01 first and then "jump to" the latest version of DNN.
