I use the newsletter feature to send email to my registered users, and it worked fine up to about 150 or so users.  I had been using the relay feature of my godaddy account as the SMTP server port, but the godaddy server limits me to 250 relays per day.  When my user base went over about 180 or so, I started getting error messages like this "Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host." which leads me to think that godaddy is terminating my ability to send emails before my limit has been reached.

I have a couple of questions if anyone can help.  First, is this a known issue with using godaddy email relay, or am I on the wrong track as to why I get the error?  Second, is there a better service to use for email relay or can I use my service provider (comcast) to send my emails?  Third, is it possible to set up DNN to use multiple godaddy email relay accounts so that I don't bump into this problem?  I am not adverse to doing a bit of coding, but would need to know where to start if I need to modify the code that sends the emails.

Thanks to any and all who take the time to respond.

I am not familiar with Godaddy's email support, but I can answer your last question: currently you can only use a single SMTP server for emails in DotNetNuke. There are enhancements planned for the future, but I don't expect them to be released within the next months.
