Hi DNN people.... I finally got my site installed, and when I try to register a new user, it won't send a verification email to their address.... What do I have to do to fix this?

DotNetNuke itself does not actually send emails.  It hands them off to an SMTP server as configured in the Host Settings (localhost is assumed if nothing is configured).  Depending upon your SMTP servers rules, it may be necessary to make sure that emails are coming from (ie. the Portal Admin email address) has permission to use that particular SMTP server.
