Ok - I screwed up.

I lost the Host password and for some reason the user 'host' does not appear under the list of users under Admin. (I guess someone will explain why) so I cannot reset the password. So I want to chuck it all away and start again. How do I do that? I can delete all the installation files and the website, but how do I clean the ASP  database? I am using Sql sever express 2005 and VWD 2005 and DNN  4.something.

Host and Admin are two separate users.

Host is superuser - can do the module upload thing and has many other roles.

Admin - is the administrator of the portal - so if you had lots of portals, every site would have it's own administrator settings, but still only 1 host/super user.

Have you tried sending yourself the password? as the host user that is?  Sorry for asking the obvious.

I would simply create another folder, create a new db completely and change your connections strings accordingly.  We are talking about the loal installation? or is this live? If live, ask your host to drop the db for you and start from scratch again.
