Great Mike!

I tried the beta version a few minutes ago and regarding logging in users it worked perfectly.
Earlier I had the "ACD-7243 - Uknown UserCreateStatus value encountered. Parameter name: UserRegistrationStatus" problem.

I haven't got the role sync to work yet but I need to check how the AD group that I try to sync is setup.
What kind of permission do user that is entered in the "Active directory settings" need to be able to get role sync to work?

/Johan

The user I'm using on our school site has no special permissions. It's just a general student account.

Check the Event Viewer in your DNN install and see if there's an error when it's searching nested groups. I can't recreate it on my installs but I have heard from another user that is. Unfortunately I don't know of a fix yet.

Hi,

When a user is logged in to DNN by using the AD provider the user is added to the DNN database, is it possible to retrieve the added users password?

I might need the password to be able to do an impersonation due to the double-hop issue when connectiong to OLAP data..

It depends how they've logged in. If they login manually then their password is also written to the database but when they login automatically it generates a random password.
