Hope this is the right place for the post.

My company is currently considering using DNN mainly for its ease of use. Currently we have everything done in Dreamweaver on one computer, whereafter it is ftp-ed online. My question is this. Because I am not a developer, and have been put in charge of this project, what would be the best way to go about installing DNN, or more specifically what would be the best install configuration.

I have an installation guide available in my blog http://www.mitchelsellers.com.  As for best configuration/process that is a bit more complicated.

DNN doesn't easily support the pushing of content from one environment to another.  You can push skins etc, but not necessarily content...

Thanks for the reply! The content portion isn't as big a deal; the website currently up does not have too much content.

I'm curious though, if our website is hosted by someone, am I able to install DNN (and all required programs) on a computer at work, and go from there?

Please forgive my ignorance, I am having trouble getting started. If someone could point me in the proper direction, I would be more than happy to learn.
