Hi,

I have a question about the ProductDetails Module. I would like to add my own token with events to the Module. I know how to create templates, but if I add the Code and events to the C# code file nothing happens. How can I do it?

Hi,

Can you describe exactly what you have done so far (e.g. you got the source code, modified file X and Y, recompiled)?  The community will then be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi,

sorry for being not online. What I did so far: I have the source code and I tried to modify the ProductDetails file. I would like to add a calculation in the file. so I need actual  new controls on the Webcontrol. (Lables, textbox and button). As far as  I understand the functioning of the store is that I need TOKENS to create this new controls. I can add the TOKENS to the template file ProductDetails.htm.  I added the CASE options in the Function ProcessToken(TokenName) , which is called in the Page_Load() Routine of ProductDetails.ascx.cs file. But if I try to compile and run it, nothing happens. Breakpoints are not working(...Symbols are not loaded...???!!!) And I can not find out what's going on. So I hope you can help me!

Are you loading the DNN solution into Visual Studio or the Store Solution.  Breakpoints will be unreachable (empty brown circle rather than filled) if you load the DNN solution.

I am not sure off hand, at what point in a page's life cycle the template is processed.  I would be surprised if you can use any ASP.Net webcontrols in the templates file.  You may have to keep all your calculations client-side?!
