The on-line instructions indicate that there should be a moderator checkbox in a users account under administration in the forums.  I do not have that.

I have a forum user who I want to allow to moderate a froum group, but cannot see how to do it.

To setting a user as Moderator there are 2 ways.

1. You can add the user to a role that you give moderation access to the forums.

2. You can add a user to the Forum permissions (Manage Forums) and give them moderation permissions.

Then in the Forum User Settings of the user you can set Moderation Notification, so he gets the Notification that new posts in the Forum who need his access.
