is it possible... i'm sure it is, as everything appears to be possible in DNN... to create a menu of your portals.

i'm creating a website that will have many sub webs (child portals). These portals don't require navigation to each other, but the main website (parent) will require a list linking to each of the children. At the moment i'm just adding them using the links module. But it would be great for the to just automatically appear.

Hi Andy,

With some SQL savy, it would be possible to attach a trigger to the Portals table such that when a new row is inserted, it automatically adds a new link to your existing Links module.  I'm not sure offhand, however, if SQLExpress supports triggers.

You could also in theory use this approach to add new menu options, although this would likely require a bit more SQL work.

Finally, it would be a very straightforward custom module, if you are inclined to go this route.
