Hello!

I've copied a DotNetNuke website and database from a production server to a test server.  The test server's web.config connectionstrings have been updated to point to the test server's database.  The PortalAlias table has also been updated on the test server.  Instead of www.websitename.com, the Alias will now be test.websitename.com.

IIS has been set up the same way on the test server as it is on the production server.  The only difference is that instead of the header being www.websitename.com, the header is now test.websitename.com.

http://test.websitename.com is infact accessible.  The problem is that any link or page that is clicked will automatically access the www.websitename.com version instead of the http://test.websitename.com.  Nothing can be accessed from the test server, even the admin and host functions.  Everything is directed to production.  Perhaps there is a setting somewhere still pointing to production?  Thanks!

John

Af first thought I was thinking a cache issue, but if still  happenning possibly DNS?   Do you have   *.websitename.com configured in DNS to point to the production machine, with websitename.com in the headers?     Possibly place test.websitename.com in DNS to point to  the test box.
