Thanks for the help Alejandro and Sebastian ,

What i'm looking for exactly is to localize lists i'm creating in the core profile module, i've searched for it and there seems to be no localization for lists for the time being . I don't want to create this module from scratch i wish to use the available one, but since i have a multi-lingual site i'm finding trouble localizing the already available lists and my own created lists. I believe the lists module should be reconsidered. We cannot take advantage of its features such as parent child lists, in our profiling for example, if we're not professional dotnetnuke programmers. Lists should be better documented, because they can be pretty usefull considering data entry used in customized modules.

Please if you do know where we can find any reference document, book or dvd tutorials such as Total Training or Lynda or anything else about the subject or dotnetnuke in general, inform me where to get them. i've already bought the books available on the website but i found them somewhat laking a lot of info if you wish to really understand how core modules are done, and customize the dnn portal to fit your requirements.

I'm new to DNN by the way, started with v4.8 and i'm a C# programmer. I found DotNetNuke to be extremely helpful and has a lot of smart and well built features.

Thank you guys.

The issue that Lists are not localizable besides the limited capabilities of the editor module and missing extensibility kept us away so far to support usage of lists in UDT module. There might be an enhanced version in a future version but there is no guerantee or time frame.

If you want to understand the core modules, I fear that the only approach will be analysing the source code, most of it is really easy to follow. In DNN 5.0, administrative modules will not be limited to admins and superusers any longer, but if you need more granular permissions (like limiting role administration and sending newsletters to specific roles or role groups), it will need additional future updates.
