We've recently added the Events Module 3.3.8 to DNN 4.6.2  The time stamp of the VCal exported event is one hour later for both starting and finishing.  Has anyone experienced anything similiar?

Cheers

This is undoubtedly to do with DST. Look here for more details - http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=3724&PROJID=11.

At this time the team isn't planning to fix DST issues, due to the incomplete support of TimeZones/DST within the DNN Core. I believe this will change in the forthcoming releases of DNN, which will then enable us to add proper supportb into the Events module.

Cheers
Roger

Is is possible to remove the VCS link from event listings altogether? I would rather not offer this facility to my users unless the start and end times can be conveyed correctly.

If you edit EventDetails.ascx and change:-

     <TD class="SubHead" vAlign="top" noWrap colSpan="2"><asp:linkbutton id="cmdvEvent2" CssClass="CommandButton" runat="server" BorderStyle="none" Text="Delete this item"
       resourcekey="cmdvEvent2" CausesValidation="False">Export Event Information</asp:linkbutton></TD>

to

     <TD class="SubHead" vAlign="top" noWrap colSpan="2"><asp:linkbutton id="cmdvEvent2" CssClass="CommandButton" runat="server" BorderStyle="none" Text="Delete this item"
       resourcekey="cmdvEvent2" CausesValidation="False" Visible="False">Export Event Information</asp:linkbutton></TD>

It will disappear.
