I have a DNN installation which I need to migrate to a different server. I have created a portal alias called xx.xx.xx.xx:1234 - this is an external ip address. and the first alias in the list is localhost. Now I copy the files over to the server, create a new website which is runnning on port 8090 (internal port) and restore the database. If I access the site using the xx.xx.xx.xx:1234 ip, firefox gives me the error saying: The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. IE goes in the recursive redirect mode as well. I have tried adding the 'UsePortNumber' key and also turning on 'FullTrust' in web.config as mentioned in other posts but no luck. The system is windows 2003, the website is running on port 8090 and exposed as a live_ip:port which is added as an http alias in dnn. Any ideas?

Can you please list all the entries that are in the Alias table?
