Hi,

I did a search and the posts I found didn't completely answer my issue. I am having trouple with the content areas. If I try it to add content this way, The panes show up when trying to add a module but my CSS styles cease to work:

<div id="container">
        <div id="header">[LOGO]</div>
        <div id="navigation">
            <div id="searchBox">[SEARCH]</div>
            [MENU]
        </div>
        <div id="containerContent">
            <div id="contentPane" runat="server">
            </div>
            <div id="rightPane" runat="server">
            </div>
        </div>
        <div id="footer">
            <div id="footerLeft">[TERMS] | [PRIVACY] | [LOGIN]</div>
        <div id="footerRight"><strong>sometexthere</strong></div>
        </div>
</div>

If I do it this way, my CSS styles work fine but I only get the "CONTENTPANE" as an option when adding a module:

<div id="container">
        <div id="header">[LOGO]</div>
        <div id="navigation">
            <div id="searchBox">[SEARCH]</div>
            [MENU]
        </div>
        <div id="containerContent">
            <div id="contentPane">
            [CONTENTPANE]
            </div>
            <div id="rightPane">
            [RIGHTPANE]
            </div>
        </div>
        <div id="footer">
            <div id="footerLeft">[TERMS] | [PRIVACY] | [LOGIN]</div>
        <div id="footerRight"><strong>sometexthere</strong></div>
        </div>
</div>

Can anyone tell what I am doing incorrectly? Thanks in advance.

Add a class to your contentpane

<div id="contentPane" runat="server" class="contentPane">

And define the class in your CSS. The ID changes, take a look at the ASCX file that gets created for your skin, then look at the source of your page, you wont' find id="contentpane" on the HTML source of the browser page.
