I have been tasked with finding a way to import and validate data into a table within my SQL 2005 database.  For instance a user would have a Excel template they would either fill in manually or export their data into.  The data could be a list of contacts, customers, locations, etc.  The user would then upload the file to the DNN database into the table I have created and the info would then be available for them to add, update or delete.  I have seen several modules to export and import users into DNN but I am looking for something a bit different.

What would be ideal is they select Upload Contacts, select their file (XML, Excel, or CSV) and then map the fields I have available with the fields they have available.

No ideas from anyone?  Someone has to had done this in the past.  It would be similar to some of the DNN Users import/export I have found on Snowcovered but havn't been able to find any examples.

Help!

Sebastian -

What or where did you find those are and the names?  I would be more than interested in checking those out.

Thanks

Brenden

I am looking for this type of module as well.  I have a CSV file that my users need to import to the site, and would like the data to be loaded into an existing table in the database.    Ideally, there would be a way to map CSV fields to db table fields.
