I created a register user. When I log in as a register user. when I click on the name, it took me managale profile page.

I want to disable that link. pls help. thx

Edit*: I have created a registered user. When I log in as that user, the username in the top left is hyperlinked to a manage profile page. I would like to disable that link. Thanks in advance.

If you want to disable the link remove the Register controls out of your Skin. If you're using a third party skin and can open the HTML files look for [USER], repackage and upload the skin.

If you don't have the HTML take a look at the section in the ASCX skin

<dnn:USER runat="server" id="dnnUSER" />

thanks for your reply. bur user name will not display. Is there any other way,  the user name can be displayed  and should not be hyper link. thx

You could display the username through a number of other means, such as using Tokens within a Text/HTML module.
